I see a lot of struggling traders make the same mistake – over trading. Day trading isn’t about fitting the most trades you can into the shortest time possible. It’s about picking the best trades, and sitting on the sidelines the rest of the time.
Day trading is actually a pretty boring activity. Most of the two hours I spend trading is spent waiting for a good trade. It’s easy to get tempted into taking setups that aren’t quite right, just to have something to do! But the fact is the trades you decide to not take, are as important (if not more so) than those you do take.
Today I only traded two stocks. And one of them made a loss. So what was the overall result for the day? Watch the video and see:
